Testimonials
“ DJ gave an enjoyable two hour landscape demonstration to Worcester Society of Artists. Working in acrylics his energetic and engaging style took us through his inspiration and process at just the right pace. One of the stand out features was David’s ability to engage with his audience which made the evening. All present walked away having learnt something and having thoroughly enjoyed the demo.”

“ I first saw DJ’s work in the Leisure Painter and then through his web site and thought he would be good Artist to show to the Art Group. He was very easy to contact via e-mail and his replies to my requests were dealt with promptly. Having discussed subject matter, techniques, and materials we settled on a theme of “Texture in Nature”, working in acrylics. On the afternoon of the demonstration, despite issues with his car, he arrived at the arranged time and set up.
Throughout the demonstration he was very professional but also very approachable. He has a way of talking and explaining what he was doing in a very clear and simple way so all the members could see and hear what he was doing very easily. At the tea break he spoke to any of the members who gathered around him with various questions which he was happy to answer. He was able to complete the painting in the 2 hours we had and stayed afterwards, whilst we were all clearing up, to again speak to any of the members who remained so they could speak to him.
The whole experience, from start to finish, was very easy and extremely informative as well as being very enjoyable. The whole group would welcome a return visit and I would not hesitate to contact him again for another demonstration or a workshop, funding permitting.”

" We had a great evening watching DJ's great demonstration. He talked us through his process, along with many amusing anecdotes. I was delighted to book DJ to come back to do another demonstration for us "
South Wales Art Society, based in Cardiff
“ DJ arrived in perfect time to set up and start his demo to our art group in Droitwich. He outlined how he had been drawn to art whilst at the same time explaining what he was going to do for us. The theme was to be a cityscape of Annecy and he started with outlining the buildings and filling in block colours. Several interesting facts, funny anecdotes and brushstrokes later we had the base for some detail. Breaking for coffee saw many of us examining his paintings set out for us and questioning him on his acrylic techniques. By 12 noon we had an almost finished painting and he gathered us together for a group photo. A very interesting and informative demo – I have already recommended him to another of my groups in Coventry. Thanks DJ.”
