This painting is based on a woodland trail leading to Barafundle Bay in south Wales. I thoroughly enjoyed playing around with the light and leaves in the tree canopy, and painting all the lush vegetation in the dimly lit foreground. The movement and twisting shape of the trees reminds us of the human form and people dancing, which inspired the title.
