Potters cross pre-school playgroup Mural

This 12m x 1.75m mural was for the Potters Cross Pre-school playgroup in Kinver. The theme of the mural is based on the natural landscape around Kinver, and taking us on a journey through the seasons of the year beginning with winter on the left.

There are lots of small animals scattered around the mural for the children to search for, including birds like the Robin and Owl here.

A Grey Squirrel

and Mister Mole

The mural features landmarks from around kinver including the rock houses, the churches and kinver edge itself of course.

There are 12 varieties of seasonal plants situated across the mural, and 2 types of mushrooms in the Autumn Section.

And a variety of insects including bees and butterflies.

Also look out for Bee hives, Hay bales, a scarecrow in the field, and down at the bottom you will see the soil where you will find lots of earthworms and the root systems of the plants.
